Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN Limited)

SJVN Limited (formerly Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam) is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) that began as a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh to develop the 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station. Today, SJVN has diversified into hydro, thermal, solar, wind, and power transmission projects across multiple Indian states and neighboring countries like Nepal and Bhutan. It operates with an installed capacity of over 2,400 MW and aims to achieve 50,000 MW by 2040.
